Happy Snake Year

About Project:

To celebrate the Year of the Snake, our studio began with a simple idea: to create a greeting card that offers recipients a personal experience. This concept led us to reinterpret the classic snake game as an interactive activity, allowing each recipient to play and create their own composition.

Happy Snake is a mini-game inspired by the game Snake, developed for Nokia mobile phones in the 1990s, and Blockade, the 1970s arcade game. These influences shaped how the game's simple mechanics drive players to create their own variations of geometric compositions.

For us, Happy Snake symbolizes life's balance. Often, the greatest obstacles in life are ourselves. Each move to grow brings new challenges, much like how our choices shape our personal development. The balance of survival, happiness, and simplicity makes the game both enjoyable and visually engaging.

Desktop Controls:

• W: Move Up
• A: Move Left
• S: Move Down
• D: Move Right  

Mobile Controls:

• Swipe the desired direction (Left, Right, Up, Down)  to move

Adjusting Parameters:

• Speed: Adjust the game's speed to control how fast it runs

Play/Pause Controls:

• Play: Click the "PLAY" button (green) to resume the game.
• Pause: Click the "PAUSE" button (red) to pause the game.

Resetting the Game

• Restart: Click the "RESTART" button to reset and start a new game
